Anna University acknowledges the importance of a collaborative and transparent working relationship with its employees. The employees are part of the various associations (Eg. Anna University Pensioner Teacher's Association (AUPTA)) and their grievances are addressed by suitable mechanisms

Exclusive centres have been established which cater to the empowerment of the Women Staff and to cater to the needs of the International Staff . These associations and centres ensure inclusive working environment for all the employees of Anna University.
