Women Participation and Access

Anna University has taken proactive steps to create, support systems to reduce the gender gap in academic and administrative domains by establishing Centre for Women Empowerment, Day Care Centres, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell, Grievance Cell, Counselling facilities and Students Clubs with the representation of boys and girls to provide mentoring, scholarships and other targetted support.The Centre for Admissions adheres to the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) through Single Window Counseling by Tamil Nadu Government. National and State Government Policies are strictly adhered at Anna University with respect to Student’s Admission and also in Faculty/Staff selection.
