- Establishing/Strengthening the State Climate Change Centre/Cell under NMSKCC (SCCC-NMSKCC) in the State of Tamil Nadu” jointly with Department of Environment, Govt. of TamilNadu
- Development and supporting of exclusive climate change knowledge management web portal for Tamil Nadu State
- Collaborated with Department of Environment, Government of Tamil Nadu for the preparation of Tamil Nadu State Action Plan on Climate Change(TNSAPCC) 2.0
- Provided inputs, suggestions and comments for improvising the TNSAPCC 2.0 as CCCDM being a nodal agency for Climate Change - Knowledge management cell
- Thematic workshop based on the Study on the impact of Extreme Climate Changes affecting rural communities live in Coastal Panchayats of Tamil Nadu
- The impacts due to climate change on coastal communities along with sector-wise adaptation & mitigation strategies were disseminated to the public, community leaders and field level officers in various government departments.

- National Hub for Healthcare Instrumentation Development (NHHID) a national facility Rs.12.4 crore from DST (Department of Science and Technology)
- Neyveli Lignite Corporation of India, Innovation Hub for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (ANIHEES) at Institute for Energy Studies (IES) established on 2019 for Rs.5 Crore.
- CPEES (Centre with Potential for Excellence in Environmental Sciences) was considered favorably under the UGC scheme “ University for Potential Excellence” and granted Rs. 5 Crore Department of Mining
- The State Appraisal Expert Committee (SEAC-TN) has permitted the Department of Mining Engineering, Anna University to implement the STAR Rating Valuation of the quarries operating in minor minerals located in Tamil Nadu. This system is to ensure sustainable and safe mining in Tamil Nadu.
